New Babies

Our newcomers are arriving! On March 11, 2009 Gretchen gave birth to Gretel her 3rd calf.
In November 2008, we welcome two new Lineback calves, Elise and Petey. Both calves are doing well, enjoying time in the pasture with their Moms Ellen and Anya. In the late afternoons, the farmers are milking Ellen and Anya, adding a new experience for farm visitors! Stop by the milking barn (old chicken coop) and watch. The cows are still getting used to being milked, but they are adjusting. (We can feed the milk to our pigs, however, the process isn't licensed for human consumption.)
